The Green Pencil Foundation made a significant impact at the Climate Conference organized by Kasiga School, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, where global strategies for climate change mitigation and adaptation were discussed. The event brought together students, educators, and experts from across the country, with 15 participating schools from different regions of India.
The Green Pencil Foundation delegation included Founder Mr. Sandy Khanda, Co-founder Mr. Gaurav Mishra, and National Operations Head Mr. Aakash Mahato, who addressed the gathering with thought-provoking insights on climate resilience, sustainable practices, and the urgent need for collective action to combat the climate crisis.

Joining the conference was Ms. Rushati Ghosh, Assistant General Manager at Jagran Media and Head at Jagran Josh, who contributed her perspectives on the role of media in shaping climate awareness and inspiring action among youth.
The Principal of Kasiga School, Mr. Rashid Sharfuddin, commended the Green Pencil Foundation for its dedication to environmental advocacy and grassroots initiatives across India. He highlighted the importance of such platforms in fostering inter-school collaboration and equipping young minds with the knowledge and tools to address environmental challenges.

The conference concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Ms. Sukhwinder Kaur, Teacher Coordinator for the event, who appreciated the Green Pencil Foundation team for their valuable contribution in guiding students toward a sustainable future.
