Conducts Environmental Awareness Session in CSR Partnership with One Point One Solutions

The Green Pencil Foundation, in collaboration with CSR partner One Point, One Solution, organized a special Environmental Awareness Session at the Government Girls Primary School in Mullahera, Gurugram. The initiative aimed to educate young students on sustainable living, plastic-free habits, and the importance of environmental stewardship.

The session witnessed participation from over 500 students, who enthusiastically engaged in interactive discussions and creative activities. As part of the outreach, metal bottles and cloth bags were distributed to encourage daily sustainable practices and reduce single-use plastic consumption.

Ms. Chandini from Gurgaon Ki Awaaz Community Radio led an engaging eco-art activity, inspiring students to express their environmental messages through creativity.

As a green gesture, One Point, One Solution also contributed to the school’s greenery by donating five potted plants, symbolizing their commitment to a cleaner, greener future.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Sandy Khanda, Founder of Green Pencil Foundation, said:
“We are proud to align our mission with the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s ‘Viksit Bharat’ vision and the Hon’ble Chief Minister’s ‘Viksit Haryana’ initiative. These sessions are part of our ongoing efforts to build an environmentally conscious generation under the Swachh Bharat Mission and ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ campaign.”

This session is a testament to Green Pencil Foundation’s grassroots commitment to environmental education and sustainable action in schools across Haryana and Delhi NCR.
