The event aimed to engage students in meaningful dialogue on climate action, sustainability, and youth-led environmental leadership.

The session brought together educators, mentors, and students for an interactive exchange of ideas on how young people can take proactive roles in addressing climate change at both local and national levels.

Mr. Manish Bhargava, Mentor and Resource Person with the Delhi Education Department and a noted author, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The activity was led by Mr. Sandy Khanda, Founder of Green Pencil Foundation, and Mr. Aakash Mahato, National Operations Head, who jointly facilitated discussions, creative exercises, and reflection sessions with the students.

“Every small step taken by students today—whether it’s conserving energy, planting trees, or raising awareness—contributes to a larger movement for climate justice. Our goal is to make climate action a shared responsibility.”

The Campus Climate Vartaleap served as a platform for students to express their thoughts, explore sustainable practices, and commit to practical actions within their schools and communities. The event concluded with a collective pledge by participants to continue promoting environmental awareness and green initiatives in their surroundings.

Through initiatives like this, the Green Pencil Foundation continues to empower young changemakers and inspire collective efforts toward a greener, more sustainable future.
