Green Pencil Foundation Organises Campus Climate Vartaleap at GGSSS Chhainsa, Ballabgarh, Faridabad

The Green Pencil Foundation, supported by Commutiny – The Youth Collective, successfully organised a Campus Climate Vartaleap at the Government Girls Senior Secondary School (GGSSS), Village Chhainsa, Ballabgarh, Faridabad. The event brought together 70 enthusiastic girl students, aiming to transform environmental awareness into actionable steps through a youth-centric approach.

The initiative focused on fostering a “Intention to Action” mindset, encouraging students to actively participate in sustainable practices both at school and in their daily lives. Through interactive sessions, discussions, and hands-on activities, participants explored key topics such as climate change mitigation, sustainable resource use, and environmental responsibility.

Speaking at the event, the facilitators highlighted the importance of youth engagement in climate action, emphasizing that students are critical agents of change in creating sustainable communities. By introducing practical strategies for energy conservation, waste reduction, and eco-friendly habits, the program empowered participants to make informed choices for a healthier environment.

Impact and Relevance
