The Green Pencil Foundation, in collaboration with the National Institute of Social Defence (NISD) under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, successfully organised a Youth Sensitisation Programme at Government Model Senior Secondary School (GMSSS), Sector 28, Faridabad.
The initiative was designed to promote awareness among students about social responsibility, empathy, and inclusive behaviour—values essential for building a compassionate society. Through interactive sessions and participatory learning, students explored themes of equality, respect, and positive community action.
Over 100 students actively participated in the Non-Residential Sensitisation Programme, engaging in reflective discussions and team-based activities that encouraged them to think critically about their role as responsible citizens.

Mr. Sanjay Yadav, Principal of GMSSS Sector 28, applauded the Green Pencil Foundation team for their continued commitment to shaping socially aware youth. He praised the initiative as “a meaningful step toward inspiring young students to take ownership of social change and become empathetic leaders of tomorrow.”
Mr. Sandy Khanda, Founder and Director of the Green Pencil Foundation, expressed that sensitisation initiatives in schools play a crucial role in building character and compassion among youth. He stated, “When young minds understand the impact of their actions on society, they begin to drive change from within. That is where true transformation begins.”

The programme reflects the Green Pencil Foundation’s broader vision to empower youth, encourage sustainable social behaviour, and nurture community leadership through education and awareness campaigns across India.
