Marking a significant milestone in its journey of service and social impact, the Green Pencil Foundation celebrated its Foundation Month by organizing a large-scale community meal distribution drive, serving freshly prepared meals to over 1,000 people across Delhi.
The initiative was led by Green Pencil Foundation’s National Operation Head, Mr. Aakash Mahato, along with core team members Mr. Nitesh Yadav and Mr. Divyansh Gandhi. The activity was generously supported by the Navodaya Alumni Association, whose members extended their hands in compassion and solidarity, helping make the event a heartfelt success.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Aakash Mahato shared,
“This initiative is a reflection of our collective responsibility towards society. Serving food is one of the most meaningful ways to spread kindness and humanity. At Green Pencil Foundation, we believe that building a sustainable and inclusive nation begins with ensuring that every individual has access to basic necessities — food, health, and dignity.”
The Foundation Month celebration is not merely a commemoration of years of service, but a reaffirmation of Green Pencil Foundation’s core values of empathy, equality, and sustainability. Through this act of kindness, the Foundation continues to extend its impact beyond environmental and educational efforts, touching lives through compassion and care.

Over the years, the Green Pencil Foundation has been at the forefront of transformative social initiatives — from ‘Periods of Pride’ (ending period poverty and promoting menstrual hygiene), to ‘Climate Chaupal’ and ‘Freedom from Pollution’ (raising awareness on climate change and sustainability), to ‘Slum to School’ (empowering underprivileged children through education and mentorship).
This meal drive adds another meaningful chapter to the Foundation’s journey of nurturing humanity and building a sustainable, inclusive future.
As Founder Mr. Sandy Khanda often emphasizes,
“A nourished society is a progressive society. Our mission is to create a world where compassion and sustainability coexist — because true development begins when no one sleeps hungry, and every hand joins in creating change.”
The Green Pencil Foundation, with continued partnerships and community support like that of the Navodaya Alumni Association, remains committed to creating real, measurable impact — empowering communities, protecting the environment, and inspiring hope across India.
