Conducted Tree Plantation Drive in CSR Partnership with Suzuki Digital

On the occasion of World Environment Day 2025, Green Pencil Foundation, in CSR partnership with Suzuki Digital, organized a Tree Plantation Drive in the Aravalis of Gurugram. The drive was aimed at promoting environmental awareness and supporting the global theme of the year – “Our Earth, Our Future – Ending Plastic Pollution.”

A total of 40 participants joined the activity, including employees from Suzuki Digital and Siya Ayurveda, along with volunteers from the community.

During the drive, over 30 native trees such as Neem, Peepal, Banyan, and Mango were planted. These trees are well-suited for the local environment and play an important role in improving air quality and supporting biodiversity.

Participation and Awareness

The event was led by Sandy Khanda, Founder of Green Pencil Foundation. He shared how simple actions like planting trees, avoiding plastic, and adopting eco-friendly habits can help protect the environment and improve the quality of life for everyone.

He said,

“When we plant a tree, we are investing in our future. It is a small step that leads to a big change when done together.”

Environmental Quiz by Jagran Connect

Jagran Connect, the community platform of Jagran New Media, supported the event as the Digital Media Partner. They also organized a short environmental quiz for the participants to raise awareness about climate change and plastic pollution.

The winner of the quiz will receive an Air Quality Monitoring Device as a gift from Jagran. The purpose of this quiz was to educate and engage people in a fun and meaningful way.

Corporate and Community Involvement

The plantation drive reflected strong community and corporate collaboration. Employees from Suzuki Digital actively participated as part of their CSR initiative. The team from Siya Ayurveda also took part with great enthusiasm.

Everyone worked together with a shared goal—to make the surroundings greener and inspire others to care for the environment.
