Organized Sustainable Practices & Children’s Rights Awareness Workshop in Delhi

Conducted a Sustainable Practices and Children’s Rights Awareness Workshop at Mansarovar Park, Delhi, engaging around 100 participants with the support of 10 volunteers from the Foundation.

The event saw the esteemed presence of IAS Jagdish Pandey, Assistant Collector currently posted in Gondia, Maharashtra, as the Chief Guest. Mr. Manish Bhargava, a renowned author and mentor in the Education Department, Government of Delhi, also joined as a Chief Guest.

During the workshop, Mr. Gaurav Mishra, Co-founder of the Green Pencil Foundation, expressed gratitude to Mr. Manish Bhargava for his participation. Mr. Nitesh Yadav, National Representative of the Foundation, thanked the President of Northern Railway for collaborating on the initiative. Additionally, Mr. Sandy Khanda, Founder of the Green Pencil Foundation, extended his appreciation to IAS Jagdish Pandey for his presence.

Key Highlights of the Workshop:

Distribution of Cloth Bags & Metal Water Bottles: Green Pencil Foundation distributed eco-friendly cloth bags and metal water bottles to underprivileged children and volunteers, promoting sustainable alternatives to plastic waste.

Free Dental Checkup Camp: In collaboration with Clove Dental, Asia’s largest dental chain, a free oral hygiene checkup was provided for children, volunteers, and guests. A team of four doctors ensured thorough examinations and raised awareness about dental care.

The workshop was also attended by Mr. Aakash Mahto, State Head of Green Pencil Foundation, Jharkhand, reinforcing the Foundation’s commitment to nationwide sustainable and social initiatives.

The Green Pencil Foundation continues to champion environmental sustainability, social awareness, and healthcare accessibility, striving for a more inclusive and eco-friendly society.
