Foundation’s Founders, Mr. Gaurav Mishra and Mr. Sandy Khanda, met with IAS Heera Lal Patel, Secretary, Government of Uttar Pradesh, at Uttar Pradesh Bhavan, New Delhi in relation of sustainability and climate education.

Dr. Heera Lal Patel, widely known as the Dynamic DM for his outstanding contributions to water conservation, has led remarkable initiatives like the Model Village project, promoting sustainable rural development. Recognizing the Green Pencil Foundation’s commitment to environmental awareness and education, he applauded its efforts, particularly the Clean and Green Faridabad Mission.

This mission, launched in collaboration with Imperial Auto Industries, focuses on delivering Sustainable Practices Workshops in government schools across Faridabad. The initiative aims to educate students about climate change, waste management, and sustainable living while providing resources like reusable cloth bags, metal bottles, and cloth pads for menstrual hygiene.

Beyond appreciation, Dr. Heera Lal Patel has officially joined Green Pencil Foundation as a Mentor and Advisor, further strengthening the organization’s mission to create a sustainable and environmentally conscious society.
