Honored on International Youth Day for Environmental Contributions

The Green Pencil Foundation has been recognized for its remarkable work in environmental advocacy and education on the occasion of International Youth Day. The award highlights the Foundation’s impactful initiatives aimed at addressing climate issues and fostering sustainability.

One of the Foundation’s flagship programs, “Sustainable Practices Workshops”, has been instrumental in educating students across schools, colleges, and societies about climate change and sustainable living. These workshops aim to equip young minds with the knowledge and tools to tackle pressing environmental challenges, inspiring them to adopt sustainable habits in their daily lives.

Another noteworthy initiative, “Climate Chaupal”, serves as an open platform to engage citizens in meaningful discussions on sustainability and climate action. This initiative has been pivotal in raising awareness about critical environmental issues and fostering collective responsibility toward creating a greener future.

The Green Pencil Foundation’s commitment to inclusivity in climate education, action, and advocacy continues to make a lasting impact. Recently, the Foundation collaborated with Imperial Auto Industries as its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) partner. This partnership focuses on educating government school students in Faridabad, from grades 6 to 12, about climate education, sustainability, and waste management. The program aims to instill environmental stewardship in young learners, ensuring they become responsible citizens who contribute to a sustainable society.

The recognition on International Youth Day is a testament to the Green Pencil Foundation’s dedication to creating a sustainable and inclusive world. The Foundation continues to inspire communities and institutions to prioritize environmental responsibility through its innovative programs and collaborations.
