GPF Continuing its commitment to nurturing socially responsible youth, the Green Pencil Foundation organised a Sensitisation Programme at Government Boys Senior Secondary School (GBSSS), NIT-5, Faridabad. The interactive session aimed to build awareness among students about social values, empathy, and responsible behaviour.
The programme was conducted in collaboration with the National Institute of Social Defence (NISD) under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, as part of a nationwide initiative to promote inclusivity and active youth participation in community development.

Over 75 students took part in this Non-Residential Sensitisation Programme, engaging in group discussions, storytelling, and experiential learning activities. These sessions encouraged young participants to reflect on real-life social challenges and explore ways to contribute positively within their communities.
Ms. Jyoti Mangala, Principal of GBSSS NIT-5, commended the Foundation for its proactive efforts in youth awareness and value-based education. She extended a Certificate of Appreciation to the Green Pencil Foundation team, recognising their continued role in fostering social consciousness among students.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Sandy Khanda, Founder and Director of Green Pencil Foundation, highlighted the need to build compassionate youth leadership. He stated, “When we equip students with awareness and empathy, we plant the seeds of a more inclusive and equitable future. Sensitisation is the foundation of meaningful social change.”
The event forms part of Green Pencil Foundation’s ongoing mission to empower youth through education, social awareness, and sustainable community initiatives across India.
