In a powerful display of environmental responsibility and community spirit, the Green Pencil Foundation, in collaboration with the Haryana Police and Jagran Connect (a community platform by Jagran New Media), successfully conducted a Mega Tree Plantation Drive and Sustainable Kit Distribution at Bajghera Police Station, Gurugram. This impactful event was generously supported by Siya Ayurveda.
Green Steps Toward a Healthier Tomorrow.
The initiative marked a significant contribution to the ongoing efforts toward building a Plastic-Free Gurugram, echoing the vision promoted by Hon’ble Forest Minister of Haryana, Shri Rao Narbir Singh
Key Highlights:
50 native trees — including Mango, Banyan, Jamun, and Peepal — were planted, selected for their environmental, medicinal, and cultural value.
100+ participants took part, including Haryana Police personnel, Green Pencil Foundation volunteers, and committed local residents.
Sustainable kits distributed, containing:
Metal water bottles to reduce plastic consumption.
Reusable cloth bags to promote sustainable shopping habits.
