The Slum to School campaign is an initiative to provide educational opportunities and develop soft skills for children living in slums. We aim to simplify education accessibility in our community.
Our focus on high education is an effort to improve awareness among communities. We are working to provide children with the tools they need for a better living. The program covers much more than academic learning – it works to develop life skills that are required for personal and professional growth.

Campaign Goals
- Education: To provide free education and soft skills training to children in slum areas.
- Accessibility: To make academic requirements like books, and uniforms easily available.

- Motivation: To compel parents to send their children to schools and advocate for better educational facilities and infrastructure.
- Facilitation: Distribution of stationery kits to encourage education.
- Sustainability: To encourage youth to follow environment-friendly behaviors.

- Weekend Classes: We have over 60 volunteers that regularly provide weekend classes. 1000+ children have benefitted from this initiative.
- Distribution: Stationery kits were distributed in slum clusters to encourage education.
- Surveys: We conducted surveys to identify the common problems faced by the children.

Why Is It Relevant?
Education is a fundamental right for every child, yet in India, 24% of children are devoid of this right. Education can contribute to social change. In slum areas, children struggle hard to get quality education. It’s one of the reasons behind limited future opportunities. We provide educational and skill development resources, to help children to overcome challenges..
